This was going to be “I’m so tired” because that’s all I’ve been feeling and the song hasn’t stopped playing in my head. But I woke up this morning feeling quite a bit better. I’ve had breakfast and, more than three hours later, I’m still feeling quite a bit better.
It rained early this morning. We haven’t seen that here in months. So refreshing. The top photo is what it looked like at 8:00 when I gave the cats their treats. Thunder brought them scurrying inside a while later, and Dudo just came running in again. But that may be because I unwrapped another Covid test. Dudo always thinks I’ve got a new toy for him. My tests Friday, Saturday, and Sunday showed sharply positive in about a minute. Today’s test is a pale positive and didn’t appear for 7 minutes. 25 minutes later and it’s still pale. Dare I hope? But now, back to bed until lunch.
.
¿Me atrevo a tener esperanza?

Oh, I’m so glad to hear that you are feeling noticeably better, today!
I understand from a friend, that her Covid tests reacted like yours… much lighter just before the next one was negative 🙂
Judy C:
SG has to buy more tests today. Oh to be negative! I still spent most of yesterday in bed, but not as miserably.
One day at a time, I guess. All positive signs of a good but gradual recovery.
Those sky photos are great. Love it when Mother nature takes over to create some balance.
Jim:
It’s nice to have the view.
Good to hear. When you mentioned “I’m so Tired” going through your head, my mind went immediately to Madeline Kahn as Lili Von Shtüpp in “Blazing Saddles”. Our cultural contexts appear to be quite different.

Wicked Hamster – great minds think alike, it seems! Jx
Jon:
Greater minds think like mine?
Wicked Hamster:
I think we had another conversation about Lili a while back when I said I’m So Tired. I do always think of her, but somehow the song doesn’t run through my head for very long.
“I’m so tired”? I prefer the version by Lili Von Schtupp!
Glad to hear you’re feeling better… Jx
Jon:
I like the way she says it, but it never makes me want to sing along.
Onwards and upwards! May the next test be negative!
Debra:
Oh, I hope so. Yesterday was another day in bed, but it was a better day in bed than previous.
estoy cansado is one of the first things I learned to say in Spanish lessons.
Urspo:
It was one of the first ones I learned in Norwegian… along with jeg har diaré.
Oh, good! It sounds like you’re definitely on the mend. It cracks me up that Dudo comes running when he hears you open a Covid test. 🙂
Steve:
New packaging being opened means a toy for Dudo… in Dudo’s mind. It IS really funny.
Clearly improving although still spending most of my time in bed. SG will buy more Covid tests today and I’ll report on it.
Wonderful photo before the storm. Storms make good napping weather,
David:
I wish I could sleep with the windows open and listen to the sea (and the rain that has since passed). But it’s been warm and humid, so the AC is on when I sleep.
I too was expecting the song from Blazing Saddles. Now that one would’ve cheered you up quite a bit. I love me some Madelyn Kahn!
Overcast beach pictures are kind of depressing and cheering at the same time. Weird, huh?
Deedles:
Right now it’s just overall gray/foggy. That can be depressing for me after a while. But it looks like there might be some sun coming around the mountain for a few hours. I love Madlyn Kahn and that song, but it just doesn’t make me want to sing along. I just keep repeating “I’m so tired…” I’m not a wabbit. I need some west.
Hope you’re feeling much better soon! This Covid business really does take a chunk out of your energy…and keeps it for far too long.
Tell your kitties to get to work, and earn their keep.
Cindy Brick:
The cats think they’re earning their keep by keeping me company and demanding I pet them.
I’m clearly improving. Still sleeping a lot, but I don’t feel so miserable.
Nice to know you’re feeling a wee bit better.
Dudo looks perturbed by you, while Moose looks like he wants a romp.
Bob:
Dudo was annoyed because I kept telling him to look at the camera. And Moose rolled over for a cuddle. Screw the camera.
Glad you’re getting some rain. We are, too, right now as I type.
Walt the Fourth:
Our was nice to see, but nothing worthwhile.
I thought “I’m so tired” was going to be Fugazi’s “I’m so tired” don’t know why since you have never given any indication of being into hardcore art punk 😂
Yolandesa:
LOL. Me being inspired by Fugazi would be a huge surprise.
