Those Annoying Piles / Esas Pilas Molestas

FUENGIROLA TAKES CARE of its unsightly piles. The beach was a mess after our most recent rain and wind storm (already weeks ago). The crews were out for days cleaning and stacking before hauling it all away. When they were done they smoothed out the sand (a job I would really enjoy). Unfortunately, someone always comes along and messes up my massive Zen garden with their footprints. Then again, I do like to walk on the beach and, if I arrive before anyone else has left a mark, I tend to be very hesitant to take that first step.

.

    1. Anne Marie,
It never lasts long here… except during winter storms when the sand is blown smooth.

  1. I see what you mean……..last photo very Zen.
And since nothing lasts forever, enjoy it while you can.
Those are some HUGE piles there!

  2. Just like a zamboni driver….until someone skates on the ice. They did do a really good cleanup job.

    1. Cheapchick,
It’s constant. And some days of the keepers of the beach chairs diligently rake their areas during season. I however find that to be a complete waste of time.

    1. Willym,
I don’t worry about click bait; don’t even track clicks (or I’d obsess about it). I just like to come up with titles that make MY two faithful readers wonder what’s coming.

    1. Walt the Fourth,
Oh, I saw one the past couple of days I didn’t even have to crop. You’ll see it soon, too!
