There’s always eye candy around town during nice weather. One guy passed by yesterday and he had quite the dip in his hip, so I thought I’d share a video short of that sighting. He then returned and I was able to snap a front view.
Our friend Lulu, who lights up the world, is back in town after her summer in Finland. We had coffee together this morning and, as if time with Lulu wasn’t sweet enough, she brought us Finnish chocolates. We already have our next date scheduled.
My sister, Dale, would have turned 72 on Tuesday. She died when she was 29 and it’s gotten to the point that I can’t even imagine what she might be like. Still, I thought of her and we drank a toast to her memory.
I’m about to head out on the town. The weather is brilliant. Sunny, breezy, 27˚C (81˚F), and 43% humidity. I’m — finally — not complaining.
Finalmente, no me quejo.

• Cómo me gusta recordarnos.

Such a pretty place.
David:
We’re spoiled I think.
Those dates got my attention!
Happy Birthday to Dale.
Jim:
Such a shame we can’t harvest the dates. But the monk parakeets do enjoy them.
Your photos are (as always) amazing. I loved the “dip in the hip” video too. You are really good at snapping those types of shots!
mcpersonalspace54:
Often, it’s not obvious what I’m shooting. This time, if there was anyone nearby, there’d be no denying it.
Love “Mr Hipsway”! Jx
PS Cheers, Dale!
John:
I should have set hipsway to music.
Wasn’t that quite the beefy little beach nugget.
Yes, ma’am.
Bob:
Yes, indeed, ma’am.
Love that photo of you and Dale.
Anon:
One of my favorites.
Speaking of chocolate bars, I had a Kit Kat today for the first time in I can’t remember when. I enjoyed it.
Debra She Who Seeks:
I haven’t had a Kit Kat in years. That sounds good!
Awww, that photo of you with Dale is so sweet. You look so sweet 🙂

I was a little angel…
The dip in the hip is nice, but the broad shoulders and great tan is what’s got my attention.
Kirk:
I enjoyed watching the dip in the hip, but I was surprised to see the rest of him on the return trip.
I was going to say something snarky like, “looks more like he’s got a stick up his butt,” but I thought better of it.
Walt the Fourth:
So glad you didn’t say it.
Did that guy’s face match the rest of him? What a body!!
Anon:
Yes, the face completed the package perfectly.
Dale would be the same but even more wonderful.
Love,
Janie
janiejunebug:
I do wonder, but that’s a nice way to think about it.
That’s a great photo of you and Dale. I’m laughing at your surreptitious video of the walking guy. I think he’d love it if he knew he made your blog. He seems like the type who appreciates being appreciated!
Steve:
Yes, I’m sure he appreciates being appreciated. There’s a lot of that around here. That’s one of my favorite photos of Dale and me. My protector.
your photo was the best
Urspo:
Thanks. I didn’t love it.
