  1. Who ever thought a small piece of cheesecake was a good idea obviously doesn’t “get” cheesecake. Vegas has that way of ripping off so many places ie Paris, Luxor, etc I am sure the Suncoast ripped off the actual suncoast

It didn’t even dawn on us that we would be staying at the “Costa del Sol” Hotel and Casino until Juan pointed it out when he asked for his Harley. I like this sun coast so much better.

Not anymore! According to my inflation calendar the 6 Million Dollar Man would cost $34,158,918.92 to build today! Not a very catchy title for a TV series.

It was really good and not from Spain. I wonder if you can find it in the States. Then again, you’ve got some great cheesecake there.

If you mean maybe one day he’ll win $6 million, not likely unless it’s a lottery ticket.

  2. I loathe cheesecake , myself. Considering all the things I do like, if I ate that crap too, I’d be big as a barn rather than the r.v. that I am 🙂

I LOVE cheesecake. I used to be very particular. It had to be real New York cheesecake. But I’ve lightened up a bit.

      1. Balder Half lives for cheesecake! He used to eat the plain ones only, now he’ll do flavors and toppings, so that’s a breakthrough 🙂

In the ’70s, my favorite cheesecake was fresh baked and smothered in cherries. Now, cherry cheesecake is my least favorite. My favorite restaurant, Mesón Salvador, serves a traditional kind of Spanish cheesecake, which is not baked and it’s topped with a blueberry compote. Delicious. But the chef also makes a traditional baked cheesecake that’s very similar to my NY cheesecakes. Incredibly good.
