I WENT FOR A WALK yesterday before lunch, mostly in the rain and wind of Storm Filomena. It was invigorating. We woke to mostly clear skies and sunshine this morning, but it’s chilly. It’s already mid-afternoon and the temperature is only 54°F/18°C (real feel 50°F/12°C). Have pity on these four cats with a limited comfort zone. I’m about to hit the pavement (and sand) again before the clouds and rain return this afternoon. I don’t have much to say that hasn’t already been said about the situation in the United States not to mention elsewhere in the world. Please escape for a few minutes with me and enjoy yesterday’s walk and this morning’s sunshine. I’d better run; clouds are moving in and the wind is howling once again.

ANDUVE AYER ANTES DEL ALMUERZO, principalmente bajo la lluvia y el viento de la borrasca Filomena. Fue estimulante. Nos despertamos con cielos mayormente despejados y sol esta mañana, pero hace frío. Ya es media tarde y la temperatura es de solo 18°C/54°F (¡la sensación real es de 12°C/50°F). Ten piedad de estos cuatro gatos con una zona de confort limitada. Estoy a punto de golpear el pavimento (y la arena) de nuevo antes de que vuelvan las nubes y la lluvia esta tarde. No tengo mucho que decir que no se haya dicho ya sobre la situación en Estados Unidos por no mencionar en otras partes del mundo. Por favor, escapa unos minutos conmigo y disfruta de la caminata de ayer y del sol de esta mañana. Será mejor que corra; las nubes se mueven y el viento vuelve a aullar.
